20 and a half yr old Paint Gelding, needs experienced rider, good with other horses, high in the herd
Patch is our fun loving guy who is looking for a long term new home. Patch is super sweet and has an in your pocket personality on the ground. He loves to know exactly what you are doing at all times and loves treats! We believe Patch was a schooling horse in the past and learned that a small amount of "misbehaving" under saddle will get him exactly what he wants. We have had one of our volunteer riders on him and she has so much fun riding him and they love going out for trail rides with other riders. He is beautiful under saddle and certainly has had some type of show experience and would make a great horse for someone looking for a horse for someone who likes to be kept on their toes. Patch would love a rider who has the experience to not let him get away with his tricks and who wants a guy who loves to be with his people as much as possible. Patch's biggest trick is he likes to turn and head in the wrong direction when he is done with what you are doing. This is simply fixed by realigning him in the right direction and giving him the correct cues to move forward. He has been getting better with his issues since he has been ridden regularly and will improve even more with a consistent rider who loves to spend time with him.Please note we do not have a central kennel facility, all of our pets are located in foster homes. The first step in meeting one of our furry friends is to fill out an application on our website at <a href="www.rainbowrescues.org">www.rainbowrescues.org</a>. A volunteer will be in contact with you in 1-2 business days to review your application and speak with you about the adoption process. Our adoption fees at this time are $250 for Adult dogs, $300 for puppies (6 months and under), $100 for senior dogs, $100 for cats, and a $50 fee for small animals. **Please be aware that we are not responsible for inaccurate information on some cross-posted sites such as inaccurate adoption fees and inaccurate pet info.**
